Which color scheme do you prefer? I still got a few more fire warriors donated by my good friend but not sure which color scheme to go with.

I agree, the blue is better.

I would try to get it to pop out a little more. The way they are painted right now you couldn't tell the difference on the table top.

Remember the "How will it look from 4-6 feet away?" factor. Make sure there is something to draw the eye to it on the battlefield, not just for the camera from a foot away.

Go blue orks think its a lucky color!

We are winged salvation, but we are a terrible, final salvation, and our wings embrace the horizon with fire. We are the Blood Angels. To confront us is to die, and death is my remit, my reality, my unbounded domain. I have known death, and defeated it, claimed it as my own. To my cost, to my strength, death is my one gift to bestow, and I am nothing if not generous.

Go blue, just make it a little brighter, and that glow, although cool add a few patches to show burn marks. i should imagine all that heat would burn the gun a little..

Are you thinking of adding tau sept markings to it?

I guess I'm in the minority, I much prefer the tan and greenish gray colour.

I like the blue, though I think it would look even better with a few gloss coats over the hard armor. Kind of that stormtrooper look.

I prefer the gray, it is a more subdued camo type colour rather than the 'look at me in blue and shoot me' colour

Yeah, I'm in the minority too - I prefer the gray because it reminds me of urban camo. The blue just stands out too much like a "hey Space Marine - point your bolters here!"

To make the gray pop a little more, give it a light drybrush with some Praxeti White Dry compound. The edges will be highlighted but the model won't be too bright.

Nice job on the pulse rifle glow. Keep that regardless of the colour scheme you choose.

But the blue is not really the ultrasmurfs bright shoot at me blue.

But I see your point, I guess tau are not like space marines who prefer bright colors so they can get shot at

I like the grey scheme better. And the glow is nice, however the weapon top could be a bit brighter.

Other than that it looks good (the gray one anyway).

Cheers
