Hey everyone - I'm currently painting the new Storm Talon and decided that it'd look pretty awesome in Imperial Fist colours.

Here are some WIP pictures. I've never painted Imperial Fists before and I'm very happy with the mustard yellow colour. It's also the first time I've used transfers too. At some point in the future I'm gonna get some Microsol/Microset but in this instance I just used gloss varnish and it came out ok.

I really like the weathering. Rusting about the joints and chipping on the most exposed areas.

The red shading is interesting. I didnt notice it right away, but the more I looked, the more I liked....It looks like a bulldozer.

Very nice. My only thought is that as a flyer, shouldn't most of the wear be on the leading edges? It just struck me as a little too evenly distributed.

Take my advice with a grain of salt; I don't paint nearly as well as you...

Very nice on the weathering, the yellow came out well. If anything its too weathered, but that's just a personal preference.

Love the yellow looks great! For DORN!

We are winged salvation, but we are a terrible, final salvation, and our wings embrace the horizon with fire. We are the Blood Angels. To confront us is to die, and death is my remit, my reality, my unbounded domain. I have known death, and defeated it, claimed it as my own. To my cost, to my strength, death is my one gift to bestow, and I am nothing if not generous.

That's a good paint job, excellent work on the damage. The techmarines will kick that pilots butt when they see what he did.

I haven't painted using yellow, but heard its not easy, you make it look easy.
