Hey guys moving to Reading next week. Was wondering what decent stores were in the area preferably ones good at teaching beginners. I haven't played a game yet but have 40k minis and I a, considering looking at other games to.

Hey, welcome to Reading (soon)!

We have a GW here that runs beginners stuff every Sunday for 40k, fantasy, and LotR, and a place called Eclectic Games for pretty much everything else.

The GW events are pretty well-run and we have a good staff here, so long as you don't mind the occasional sales pitch. They rarely do that to the regulars though.

Thanks mate. What are they like with conversions or non gw models? Super strict or not to bad.

Does eclectic games not do 40k then? Ty

I'm going to be living pretty close to the dreaded Oxford street.
