Japanese Mecha

They really don't...

Looks too clustered. I wouldn't enjoy assembling/ painting that IMO

They already pandered to the mecha/manga/anime fans enough with Tau, this is just too much, even for Apocalypse.

And this was posted months ago as a Tau Apoc titan kind of thing...

While I like the model, it just goes against many of the themes established by GW for its factions. The closest we can get is the Tau for MechA. Perhaps the Tau will get revamped in the next few years with new models...but don't expect anything with wheels.

No offense, but I really don't like that model. I don't think it fits with any of the themes of any existing 40k army. I kind of thought you were being sarcastic with your post title, though. (At least I hope you were.) The problem is that the wheels and the really cluttered-up look spoil the animatronic 'mecha' look, while the smooth lines on the lower half spoil the 'industrial' look. It's like the bastard spawn of a committee with a Techpriest, a Dark Mechanicum adept, a mek boy, and an Earth Caste engineer. It just doesn't fit in anywhere.

That being said, if you like it, rock on with it. As long as it comes close to the footprint of one of your vehicles, you can run it as a counts-as vehicle all day and all night long.

thats just awful, i really hate how people think everything has to have some relation to everything. example. warhammer in no way needs to incorporate that style of model but people are like i like mecha stuff so warhammer should have it too! even though it stands out like a sore thumb. or the guy that made the pony army, 100% unnecessary and unwelcome by anyone who plays the game for what the game is not what everyone else likes to watch on Disney

ps as a model by its self looks fun to build/paint just stick it in dust tactics if you want to field it it fits there okish

Looks like the mecha from "Gunhed", a thoroughly weird and confusing Japanese sci-fi [repeating myself] film (live-action) - definitely more Dust tactics than 40K.

I like the futuristic mech design better than the current stuff. It's hard to believe that 38,000 years in the future, the war gear looks like WWII stuff. However, I think this model looks like a giant robot sitting on a toilet.
