Subject: How to Make a Tome?

Hello, I am currently making a counts as Menoth army for Warmachine using Dark Elf models. The only problem I am running into in my planning stage is how to create a book or tome to recreate a Covenant of Menoth.
I searched here for a good way to make what I need but didn't find any relevant threads. Does anyone either A. know of any or B. know a good source that shows how to make what I need?
It does not need to look exactly like the model I am intending to represent, it just has to have the necessary element to avoid confusion. It would also be an acceptable substitute to make a scrying pool of some kind.
Thanks for any help. :]

I've never made anything like that but I imagine t could be done with plasticard, parchment paper, and green stuff. Make the book cover from plasticard, the pages from parchment paper soaked in glue, and green stuff for all the decorations on the book cover. If you manage to make one, post a picture of it!

Or loot the book from a Ravenwing upgrade sprue.. that might be big enough for you.. and the back of the holder would obscure the DA icons on it..

well buy yourself a BIG 'OL roll of greenstuff and start practicing lol i actually dont think a book is very hard to do.
get a GS rectangle
press down the middle with a metal ruler or something
smooth down towards the sides
at the edge of the top 2 pages, smooth down in a steeper angle
carve in some pages
cut into one of the corners to fold over a bit of paper (optional extra detail)
and TADAAA

Just use plastic card for it all. Seeing as you can get them at different thicknesses you can just get thicker stuff for the cover. Then draw the emblem onto some card and cut it out. To add to the GS tips, always go for the stuff that has the yellow and the blue in separate containers.
