This is for a 500 point escalation 'Tale of Four Gamers' at my lgs:

Liche priest
3 chariots with standard
10 skele archers
3 necro knights

Not bad, I think that 10 archers is small so make sure you take an augment.

Thanks, i will be aiming for the augment spells in the smaller games, now its just fighting to put the damn things together.
Any advice by the way, opponents will be WOC ogres and possibly beastmen or lizards

At small point values the snakes will shine, they can take equal number of Mournfang if they get the charge. Remember that the chariots will heal faster than them though.

Smiting bubbled is the best spell for sure. as it's 24" range and a chariots get 4 more attacks each.

TK require syngery and at 500 points you will struggle to find it, but the list is solid.

The one thing I don't like about talking level 1, is you pretty much have to throw all your dice at one spell because your opponent will be throwing all his dice to dispel it. Therefore I recommend upgrading the priest to level 2, if you do that however you will need more points, dropping the chariots will cause you to fall short of your 25% minimum core, so I hate to say it but I would drop the knights, you need 3 legal units so...

This also gives the benefit of more power dice and an extra spell to throw dice at, giving you 3 spells so your opponent might dispel 1 maybe 2 if he is lucky allowing the 2nd or 3rd to get through.

Only downside i see there is the fact that casket cannot fit in 500, or i would take it. Main reason the knights are there is they counter some of the heavy hitters I know the other guys are taking, the priest is there as he is mandatory, going to take a high liche at 1k

Maybe take the lvl2 drop chariots, add a skullapult and load up on archers.
