I'll be faceing a space puppies army or Cahos Space Marines. the puppies will probly be long fang heavy and I don't know what he might bring with chaos since it is his newest army. If its anything like the armies Ive faced before it will have lots of plague mariens Typhus and some defilers and or obliterators.

5 genestealer squads without toxin sacs are not going to tie up anything. I would drop all those regenerations and free up 75pts. You need a few more stealers in your squads and they need TS especially vs MEQ.
I would also consider making one of your trygons a prime to offer some synaps and SitW. Maybe only run two trygons (one prime) with AG. Bump up your stealers to 7 or 8.
Hive guard are great, doom is fun and tervigon is great. Although consider giving him AG too in order to help the spawn.

I agree with the above statement. I'd advise running units of Genestealers in no less than 8. They are your only troops, so they'll be a priority for your opponents firing line, and they'll be extremely easy to kill.
I really like the idea of running 3 Trygons with regen at this points value, mostly because I think it'd be so unexpected and intimidating, but I'd probably end up dropping one of them and using it's points to put a unit of Termagants and a Tervigon as troops for some reliable objective scoring. That's really up to you though, as I'd like to see how 3 Trygons perform at 1500 points.

so your saying I need to use TS against MEQ for the 4+ to wound, even though S 4 to T 4 I need 4+ to wound anyway.  so if there was a diffrent reason i'd love to here it,  oh maybe you ment ST not TS for Sycthing talons which would be a good idea. maybe I will take only 2*genestealers*7 with scything talons and keep the trygons and there regen. this is like a test run for regen I have never used it before so it should be interesting. thanks for the help keep it coming.

No, toxin sacs makes the 4+ rerollable against anything of the same toughness or lower, so really increases the chances to wound. It also enables you to wound high toughness creatures that would otherwise be near impossible to take down.
Scything talons allows you to reroll 1s on the hit roll, but toxin sacs gives you more bang for your buck.

Not only that, when you reroll your to wound rolls you get another chance to roll more 6's, therefore more rending hits. That's the reason.

Oh wow I just have been glazeing over that part of the rule this entire time this changes everything, well maybe not everything but a lot thanks. I will definatelty use toxin sacs, maybe even get rid of a trygon for more stealers.

I left the sycthing talons for the extra attack, added 3 more steallers per unit bringing them up to 8. I took out a trygon and there regen to put in a prime. what do you think are the scything talons worth the extra 16 pts per unit or would a extra stealer be better?

An extra stealer would be better in my opinion. More attacks tend to be better than rerolling 1's and 1 more body in the squad will give them that much more staying power.

Second list you got there seems interesting. As a new nid player I can't wait to see how it plays out as I'm a big genestealer fan  . Has everything you need to hold objectives (3 Troops and a tervi that makes more troops) and be killy (Genestealers kill... its what they do. lol and Hive Guard, Trigons, Doom) so I dont see why you can't pull some good games out of this list.

wouldn't the ST give each stealer an extra attack since it would be a secound CCW or do the RC count as 2 CCW granting them an extra attack anyway. If the ladder than I agree one more stealer is better then ST. I had ST on them for the extra attacks not the rerolls that was just iceing.

Page 33 of your codex - Tyranids never gain an extra attack for multiple CCW.
The Scything Talon reroll isn't usually worth it on Stealers.

Ok so my friend through me a curve ball and played Dark Eldar. It was a very close battle but in the end he tabled me with 3 half units left. he brought

I think fiends*10 (the ones with 5 wounds)

If I had set up differently I might have won but for the most part it was all dice rolls after he took out my stealers, and he had a lot of dice rolls. the trygons took forever to kill but there were just too much attacking them at once. the doom held his own till he rolled his 8 leadership 3 turns in a row. the steallers did miricals like sweeping a group of beastmasters and putting so much fear in him he decided to never even assult them after turn 2 ever agian. the void bomber took care of the last of the geanstealers. I think mabye next time I will take out another trygon and put in maby some gargoyles or hermagaunts. defenantly taking out the ST.

one of the best lists i've see on this site yet. although, you have 1 dude with synapse. upgrade a trygon or two and you should be fine. drop that silly regeneration. PRime it! id drop a genestealer squad and get upgrades and synapse. nude genestealers without swarmlord arn't very good. drop toxin sacs on the tervigon, that thing just makes walls to save you from terminators. catalyst is give or take but can go if you need to fin in a few points.
