So, my first Scibor figure arrived in the mail today. The plan was to have him riding in the chariot I have built, but he is HUGE. I expected the figure to be slightly larger than a terminator, but he's like twice the size of a GW figure. Unless I miss read the website, these are supposed to be in scale with the GW figures, correct? Do you guys think it looks too weird to use with the chariot?

Hahah that picture made me large, i have seen scibor mini's before and known they were larger but thats quite a bit different. I think it would be okay if you do not model him next to a GW figure so the scale is not obvious?

Normal humans are the same scale as GW. Genetically modified superhumans are larger. Scibor's SciFi Knights are what people call truescale, as mentioned in most Scibor threads. Scibor's website always gives the size of the base, so you can always estimate the true size.

Yeah I noticed that the head was basically the same size as the GW figures. I wish I had realized the difference between truescale and 'goofy scale' or whatever, before I built the chariot, because the control panels and stuff I put in are about at knee level to the figure. It lines up perfectly for the GW figure I used as a test, but it looks weird now.

28mm means that an 'average', true-scale human will be 28mm from the bottom of his feet to his eyes. Scibor's models, I'm guessing, not being regular human beings, would tend to be a bit, erm... larger.

Actually, hang on a second... which model is that?

That guy looks a little bigger than most of Scibor's not-marines. I suspect he's intended as a Primarch stand-in, rather than a regular trooper.

It's the Roman General figure.

I recently got their Chaos Master model (Basically a Chaos Terminator Lord) and without being on his base he was about as tall as a plastic GW Daemon Prince. My friends nicknamed him Horus cause he was enormous compared to everything else.

I bet its from the collectors range Scibor offers. Because i have seen some of the other not marines at my FLGS and they are pretty close in size.

on second thought it might have been a Hi tech miniature.

He aptly nicknamed him then because I am fairly certain that model is supposed to be a Horus type Primarch model and the Roman General the OP is showing was, I believe, supposed to be a Guilliman style Primarch.

I was going to place an order for the same model OP, to use as a Primarch, because he is so much bigger.

Yeah, he's supposed to be a not-primarch so he's bigger than a regular marine.

As requested this is my Chaos Lord next to Kharn. I apologize as I'm not the greatest painter. I however was wrong. I was thinking he was taller than this. Must have been on the base that he was taller than a DP. Looking at it I don't think he is too unreasonable.

I've been curious about these figures myself. They do look cool and seem really great as stand in figures for primarchs in say senario based appocalypse matches. I which I had a legit use for them. My army being gk.

I think they'd work for Primarchs. I considered buying this http://sciborminiatures.com/en_,shop.php?art=1233 and converting it into the Emperor for fun. Wouldn't take much I think.

Cool! It's a really great looking model just my painting skills aren't too great and the camera on my phone doesn't help either.
