Pretty much the title. I was under the impression it gets a 3+ cover save for moving 24", but I can't find anything that backs this up. Am I confusing it with the cover save from a jet bike's turbo-boost? If it's a 4+ save, I was in the wrong. If it's a 3+ save, please tell me what book and page number I can find this information on.

Well, what's a CCB? If it's a Fast skimmer of some sort, then yes, you are likely confusing the Skimmer Flat Out rule (page 71) with a bike's turbo boosters rule (page 76).

So yeah, you were likely in the wrong as skimmers get a 4+ and bikes get a 3+.

Hes talking about the Necron Catacomb Command Barge and yes its a skimmer so no 3+ turbo boost, itis only a 4+ for flat out

It's a catacomb command barge.

I really need to get around to updating the glossary...

While we're on the subject, how do scarab swarms get a 2+ cover save as i've constantly been hearing?

I think you must be hearing people talking about the old codex. Because previously Scarabs moved like Jetbikes, so they could turbo-boost, which gives the unit a free 3+ cover save which was then boosted up to a 2+ because they're a swarm (and swarms all have the 'stealth' USR that adds +1 to any cover save they have).

In the current codex you'd have to find some 3+ cover for Scarabs to be able to boost it up to a 2+, but that's pretty darn rare.

its actaully very easy to give scarabs a 2++

They are swarms, so they have the stealth rule. If they are in cover (4++) it becomes a 3++. If they get shot at they can go to ground making the 3++ a 2++

Wait, wait, Swarms get Stealth as default? I did not realise this. I need to tell my friend who runs Necrons, his Scarabs will be happy.

Strange how none of my opponents are ever unaware of that particular rule...

Oh, I'm always keen to point that one out. Especially when using my Guard army.
