While assaulting a Stormraven during out last game, a question arose regarding Kharn the Betrayer. The vehicle in question had not moved in its turn, making all the attacks autohits. However, he has a rule that in any CC he will hit a friend while rollin a 1.
When no dice are rolled, is the rule ignored and he attacks and hits as normal? Or do I roll the dice just to see if he will splatter a friend that is part of the combat?

In Boxing matches, you actually get paid to take a dive and make the other guy look good.

Was the Stormraven Imm? If so, then Auto hits.
But if it's a skimmer that did not move, he has to roll a 4+ to hit, and 1's should hit his unit.

Cool, that had been a contention in a game I was playing. I swore up and down it didn't matter because Kharn was just too much of a badass to care whether the vehicle had moved... I showed my opponent the rule and he said the vehicle movement rule overruled Kharn rule. I gave in as it was a friendly game but I know in my heart I was right.

on the other hand Nobz they decided it was in the best interest of ork society that they "Go Green" as such they specifically modified their warbikes to not make giant smoke, dust, grit, clouds. Instead they are all about driving with clean air, one might say their bikes Gak out rainbows.

Yup, under the "Gorechild" rules. "Against models with a WS value, Kharn's close combat attacks always hit on a 2+." So he would still need 4+ vs a vehicle that moved (aside from walkers). 1s would still hit friendlies though.

The first printing didn't specify "against things with a WS". GW errata'd it in the FAQ and fixed it in later printings.
