A big hello to everyone at Dakka Dakka!
My name is Brent Spivey and I'm a gamer, painter, collector, and designer. I've been a long time fan of the Warhammer 40k and Fantasy universes [if not the official rules for playing in them].
I've recently released a new game, The Battlefield, which focuses on bringing the modern [and hard sci-fi] first and third person shooter experiences to the tabletop. I'm working on a true sci-fi expansion currently and hope to tap the Dakka community for inspiration, ideas, and request.

Thanks. There are quite a few modern miniatures out there, but most of them are 15-20mm. Flytrap Factory has some great looking stuff, and I believe they are in your area. Of course, Imperial Guardsman would require very little converting...
