I converted a Panther into a Bergepanther...and you can too! Enjoy!

Very well done. Actaully looks a hell of a lot better than the BF one.

That looks great! Oddly enough, I was thinking of doing something like this with a spare Panther kit. It's scratchbuilding the spade on the rear that puts me off, but you've done a nice job replicating it.

A couple of small points - I thought (but I may be incorrect) that all Bergepanthers had the roof above the driver and hull gunner's position open, and the shielded 20mm cannon was bigger and mounted further up.

Can we see it painted up?

Build a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

The expanded driver's area was open but it had a roll-down tarp that could be positioned over the open space. I simply used a piece of plasticard to represent the rolled-down tarp. The tarp is flipped up against the deck in the pic below:

And, yes the KwK38 was much bigger but I didn't have a spare and besides I wanted my gun to still fit under the "AA MG" FOW lists it as.

Yep, I'll post pics of the completed Schwere Panzer Co. when it's all done here.
