Hi guys, I've recently bought Imperial Armour Vol 11 and was wondering if you can take Eldar Corsairs as a bolt-on to a regualr Eldar army? I've read through it and it explains how you can field a corsair army.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Well, there were some Eldar Corsair armies floating around here at Dakka. Please use the search function.

I've done a search and whilst there are several posts on Corsairs lists, what I am after knowing is if I can take units from the Corsairs lists into a regular craftworld eldar army list as "inducted troops/alllies". The IA book doesn;t cover this?

To my understanding it's one or the other-
Tho some of the book is confusing, with the 2 sections (craftworld then pirate.. as I recall?).
You're going to be lucky to get any FW approved for tourney play. If it's just friendlies, you could prob mix codices regardless.

I've not read the new 6ed rules yet, is there any mention in there under the allies section?

Not for FW books there isn't. The matrix only mentions craftworld and dark kin.
There is a rumour going round that FW is going mainstream and will bolt on to the existing core rules, though whether or not this actually happens is another thing. I hope it does, it'd make sense for loads of reasons.
For the time being, you shouldn't have any problems in friendly games as long as you agree it in advance, though as far as tournaments go you'll have to check with each organiser.
Hope that helps? Sorry I couldn't be any more concrete
