We trust this man with the running of our government and look what he does with his own family.

Breakdown, Cameron left his 8 year old daughter in a pub after lunch. What a dad.

His family went home in two different cars, and many parents have done this.

Non story.

Then it was only for 15 minutes. More or less most of it will be needless hype to make it into a story.

Not so sure you can claim he's a bad parent...

However since this seems to be a lack of communication problem you could argue that he is a poor communicator.

It's like the Gordon Brown handwriting thing all over again.
A despicable leader makes a human mistake that no one could realy blame him for, takes all our minds off the economic collapse and widespread privitisation.

Not a story. Two cars, two assumptions, overly busy people.

Anyhoo, bit of an ooops moment from 'Dave' & family, embarrasing certainly.

My dad came home on leave from the marines once and found his family had moved from Gloucester to Portland... without telling him Admittedly he was about 10 years older than Cameron's daughter... but it still hurts dammit!!

Live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about his religion. Respect others in their views and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life. Beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and of service to your people. When your time comes to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home.

Why did they take two cars to the pub?
The child was left 15 mins I read in one article, so they can't exactly live far away, why didn't they just walk?
Two cars, to a local pub. From the man who is in charge of the country, trying to lessen the huge debt 'were' in.

No, he's not the only person who has left their child somewhere accidentally, but doesn't make it right.

As a high profile official with a handlers, aides and I assume a security detail it raises far more questions about them then him. Public figures are used to being handled and moved about and his assumption she had been accounted for by any number of people who I assume are expected to guard his family was a mistake that I can see him making...

He came from work, she came from home, and they me there to save time? Lots of reasons. I've met my GF at the ball park rather than drive home from work and then back into Houston to the stadium in rush-hour traffic.

Non-story in my opinion.

This made me think of Home Alone, where the kid gets left behind due to accidental oversleeping and a miscalculation in the headcount

Like others have said, not much of an issue, but CT GAMER is right that it raises questions about his security/handlers/whoever the hell was accompanying him moreso than it does questions about the man himself.

Oh no! A responsible 8 year old was briefly left behind to be exposed to the utter horror of a well-maintained British Pub for 15 minutes?!

Stop the presses!

Who got the sarcasm?
