It is really boring to find this many models.
I would add a few deff koptas to kill some armour.
Armies apart from Crowe will struggle to kill that many models.

A mech army will just run circles round you. I'd suggest you do what MFletch said

I don't know about running circles around them. I would have to agree, it is rather boring.
You really need some support in there. Either with what MFletch has mentioned or maybe some Big guns w/kannons. Maybe another squad of lootas, you can never go wrong with them. I wouldn't split the lootas, add more yes, but no splitting.
Ghaz is nice and adds that nice waagh for the army, but he is just so expensive. I personally wouldn't use him until you reach 1850 at least.
I am not a fan of the green tide army as like has been said its boring and I frankly don't want to move that many models. Especially if you plan on taking it to timed events. More then likely you will not have enough time to move everything in a timely matter and will be acused of stalling. Try to find a nice medium with the amount of models you have with the amount of time you are willing to spend moving those models. At 1500 you could get away with 80 Orks with a bunch of support and have a decent Ork tide army. At least IMHO.
I hope this helps you with a new list or at least put some insight on the matter. Good Luck!

I played the first round of a four round friendly tournament with this list.. Everyone's bringing some funky lists. It's really fun. I smashed through a Salamander army. I did decide to split the lootas in two, it made for a higher average D3 shots. It's too late to change the list for this tournament, but you're right about bringing the deffkoptas. If I could remake this list I would drop the shoota squad for four rocket koptas, one with buzzsaw. Ghaz really didn't get to see any action minus his big shoota since he has to walk everywhere by himself, but assaulting 18" really eliminated the small tank threat.

Dont get discouraged by comments such as these. Is this a boring build, yes, but, it is what you want to field so, feth them. You do need some support. Maybe take out the shoota boyz and add some deff koptas, or, upgrade some of the other mobs to rokkits.
As far as movement goes, you will have to practice this. Mainly move the first rank up, and, then, just move the others up without moving, just, keep them in the same configuration as you did before. You will not be accused of stalling. I have done numerous tournaments, and if you move with any form of efficiency you will not be accused of that. Most of the time the "win at all costs" players are the ones who stall when they do not have a major victory firmly in control.
This is just my oppinions on the entire thing. I play orks, and, I don't have a problem with movement. The bigest slow down is during assault phase. You just have a ton of dice to role.

What is discouraging about what I said? He asked for our opinion, so I gave it. I am not sure how long he has been playing Orks as he did not say. But I know from playing Orks for 13 years that you have to be fast as you tend to have alot of models. So if he is new, especially with a Tide list then he will have some problems in a timed event. Plan and simple, not to discourage but to inform. I did not tell him not to play the Tide list. By all means if that is what he wants to play more power to him. I applaud him for wanting to do so.
Anyways to the OP good luck with playing your army how you see fit. And take my and all the others opinion as what they are, our opinions!
