I'm plaming on buy some nice earphones for a 20 hour trip i'n going on and i don't completly understand all the stuff so the question I'm asking is which is better,

I'd go with the first one as it actually has technical specifications on the page, unlike the latter.

I'd go with the Jays.
I've got a pair of the 3s and they give great sound, plus the tangle free leads are brilliant.
Monster headphones, in my experience are largely style over substance and have poor sound reproduction.

It depends on what you want. I don't think I would ever spend $100+ on ear buds. I would however spend that much and more on headphones.

If they have to be ear buds, well, I guess for $100 they're probably going to be pretty good. If you're going for the best sound quality you can get for the price, you could get a pair of headphones for $100 that would sound significantly better.

If you don't mind headphones instead of ear buds, I can give you some suggestions.
