It's a bit annoying if you are wanting to make sure that a video/image link is working within the spoiler tag.

It is a minor problem, but it's annoying considering it used to work.

Been that way for as long as the spoiler tag has been active I'm afraid. It is on the list to fix but there are a lot of security issues linked to it so I have to be careful. It is also a very low priority and a boring thing to work on, so a fix will be a long time coming.
