Read on the 6th ed rumer fourm on here as well as some other places, and most of them say

"All metal turning to plastic/finecast"

and what i want to know is if this is going to happen, im collecting IG and hate metal figures so im hoping this is true. I have emailed GW but you get there normal crap

Thanks for the email, we do not currently have any knowledge of if or when new Finecast or plastic Storm Troopers would be released, however the first place to find out about such releases would be in White Dwarf.

Or, crazy thought - they want you to buy White Dwarf in the hope that, like the horse chasing the carrot on the stick, you'll keep buying the magazine for some hint at plastic/Finecast storm troopers.

Here, go back and ask if they'll be making plastic/Finecast Sisters, and see if you get the same reply.

Also, not a rumor, and definitely not news.

This is not news or rumor. A guy on GW's end saying they have no idea when or if something will happen is practically the opposite of a rumor. Also, your grammar and spelling need a lot of work. Please work on them and lurk around Dakka more.

The Rumor is that is has been brought up that all minis will be plastic/finecast for 6th unfortunately most of the models for other forces don't interest me (tabletop wise) so im going into just one item.

So the "rumor" is that all things will be plastic/Finecast, which we already know. What does your personal taste in models have to do with anything though?

I'm not going to go looing for plastic/finecast space marines or eldar if i don't like them am I, im not saying i don't like the models. i just don't like them in the playing sense.

Just kidding. They were horrible. I did end up keeping one of the plasma gunners just because he looked rather cool.

Completely silly, didn't fit the Grim Dark element at all.

While it is a nice rumor it isn't true. Honestly I have seen a lot of old threads about plastic storm troopers from way back. Seems like the idea pops up with every edition change and new codex, yet it never comes true.

There have been rumors of a new plastic stormtrooper kit doing the rounds for nearly 10 years. It's up there with plastic sisters and greatcoat guard.
