Are there any anti-spammer initiatives/features coming up?

It isn't a big deal, but I see a lot of guys who create a new account and create two or three new threads before they get booted. Maybe restrict new threads to 5+ posts or something like that? (Outside of Intros, ofc.)

But then they spam actual functioning threads, and that's even worse.

They already do sometimes as well anyway.

Most spammers on here are human employees, so they will always find a way around technical means. We stomp them out fast enough and technology and tweaks are always being applied to cut it down but they will never go away completely without us making things very inconvenient for all users.

Ahh, but if real life in the US has taught me anything it is that we should sacrifice any amount of convenience for the impression of security.
