Someone suggest supersonic Pteradactlys as a possible Tau flyer unit, and I thought of these.
What does the Dakka Community think?

Greater Kroot Raptor[80pts]
WS4 BS3 S5 T5 W3 I4 A2 Ld7 Sv5+
Wargear: Flak Armour & Explosive Bolt Launcher
Type: Flying Monstrous Creature
Special Rules: Fleet, Skilled Flyer, Dodge[4++ against shooting +12" away]
Options:
Each Additional Greater Raptor[80pts]
May replace Bolt Launcher w/ a TL Krootgun[10pts]
May take Kroot Bombs[20pts]
R: Bomb S4 APd6 D2 large blast
Instead of firing its other weapon, the Greater Raptor may elect to drop bombs over any target it moved over in the movement phase treat this attack as a vector strike using the bomb profile.

Aw yeah S5 T5 monstrous creatures with turboboost! Fleet is unnecessary as if it moves like a jetbike, it can't run. I would max out those Greater kroot raptors, I can see no way they wouldn't be amazing at tank popping.

Now even the Tau will have better monstrous creatures than the Tyranids.

Edited for 6th edition, both are now Flying Monstrous Creatures, and bombs are dropped in a way similar to vector strike.
