I want to make a Walker wall list and orks seem to have the most walkers. I'm about to buy the Kans / Dreads now but I'm not sure what else I should get besides the two big meks with KFF and something to stick them in for meat shields.
I've been looking at...

Well I play the Kan wall and have been doing so for awhile now. It is a very fun army. At 1k you could drop one set of Kans and take more Boys. !0 man squads tend to not survive very long. At this points level I would say nothing short of 15. I am a believer in "more toys then boys" with this list, which goes against everything most Orks players believe. But it has not failed me yet.

I love the addition of the Dreads. Most will tell your they are slow or not worth it, but I have to diagree. I have found they are quit worth it. Even if they are just cannon foder.

I do not like the BW in this list. I understand what your thinking about getting more cover, but honestly it really isn't enough to do that. You would be better off getting some long range support in there with some lootas or Koptas, maybe even buggies. I also like to have an extra squad come in from reserve to help take home objectives late game or help with outflankers or DSer's that might be in my back field.

All in all you have a pretty good start to the Kan wall. Just some minor tweeks I think.

You should drop one squad of Kans. Use those points to add boys to the mobs. At 10, even add in the Big Mek, you will lose boys and have to make leadership rolls. Lets face it, ork leadership sucks.

I run a Kan Wall/tide list. I however, unless using all I have, never run Nobs (except leading the boy mobs). Well, Mega Nobs make most of my lists.

I think you are spot on with the dreads, the two big shootas seems to help alot in my experience.

It is a good list, I would just find a way to put more boys in and help maintain that fearless ability.

Ah I typed it in wrong, both boyz are actually 14 strong each.

So I guess for 1,500 it might be better something like the list below, and I can always switch some Kans for Grotzookas for more boyz in 1,000.

I would keep the 9 kanz, 2 kffs and use the dread points to boost the boyz numbers. Rather dropping kanz to support boyz.

Also I would go for cc weapons on the dreads but big shootas will hit something with that many shots.

I would go for larger boy squads at 1500 points, maybe 2 large squads and grots for objective sitting to protect the lootas.
