Hey everybody
i have a bit of a strange question, but i feel this is the best place for it.

I bought a squad of grey knights in powerarmor.
I bought it because i wanted the demon hammer for a conversion (talk about dedication )

The actual question i guess is;
What can i build up from the rest of the kit that would fit most GK lists? (absent the demon hammer)

as in only 4 guys? or using the rest of the box normally?

full 5 man squad im just gonna use the TH for a conversion

well for the basic theme is strike squad all silver, purifiers have white helms/maybe shoulders

and if you got purifiers I'd say make 2 guys to have psycannons (rest halberds)

Yep, no rule that says you have to run a hammer in GK squads.

And what would be the cheapest? A strike squad or a purifier squad?

Cheapest in game? Would be the strike squad, they are a troop choice and the Purifiers are elites. But they can both be crafted from the same box, its simply a matter of wargear and paint scheme to differentiate.

Strike squads are the easiest to build


you only get 1 psycannon for the 5 guys in the box, and strike squads can have 1 psycannon per 5 members.


Purifiers are a little harder to do as you can take 2 psycannons per 5 people, but you do not have the bits to make that many psycannons in a single box, so you either need to buy extra psycannons or do some converting.



Strike squads should never take anything other than the normal sword. (if you decide to bulk the squad out to 10 people you could consider taking a hammer on the sargent, but that is only if you buy a second box of GK)
