Not quite sure where to put this question so figure I'd put it here.
I've got an army of marines that use Maxmini heads and anvil industries weapons and backpacks.
The rest of the parts to make the marines (torso, arms, legs, shoulder pads and the vehicles in the
army) are all GW parts.
Is it okay to use these mini's at a GW store? I've had a few mates telling me they won't allow me
to use the mini's in a GW store because they are not purely GW parts being used.
Anyone able to clarify?

In many cases, it varies from store to store. In general, as long as 75% of each model (or something close) is GW or passes the rule of cool. That's just my experience at my home store, your experiences may vary.

40K:
The Crusade of Unending Light 2.5k
Fantasy:
The army of the Fallen Pheonix (HE) 3.5k
The Pass Rangers of Karak Kadrin ( Dwarves) 3k

Most probably won't. If you have a cool manager he might let you. Play at an FLGS if you can.

Technically no because only GW models are allowed on the tables and you cannot get anoth of the same model you have when your in there you render the entire model unable to be used.

In my experience, so long as you don't go broadcasting it across the store and are discrete a lot of managers will let stuff fly. I've got non GW parts on a lot of my models (Hell, I've got an Ork Battlewagon where the Deffrolla is made from Lego) and even have models made from non GW figures. I've never once been told to put them away.

It's all about being a little cloak and dagger about it. Unlike a certain regular at my local (who posts on here) Who emailed GW if he could use his PH Thousand Sons Termies with legs from Micro Art Studio at their last Throne of Skulls. They obviously said "no". "Don't ask, don't tell" is the general policy I've seen.

This. Also, if someone asks about it, do NOT say anything to divert that sale elsewhere. Say you had some parts, not sure what they are, or that it is greenstuff. Just be prepared to offer up a GW alternate that is close. If you help the store make sales, it is a lot easier for the staff to plead plausible deniability.
