How many points are in a starter for Ariadna? Haqqislam?

For the Ariadna starter :

At minimum 123 pts
You can get a little more depending on loadouts

For Haqqislam :

At minimum 119 pts
And you can easily get a bit higher with this one as well

The vanilla starters vary from 117 to 125 or so points (apart from Combine and Aleph, which approach 180 or so points).
The sectorials go up from there.

Cool beans. Thanks guys. I bought an Ariadna Starter because I like the look of them then I bought a Haqqislam starter as a 'demo' army so I can have people to play with but I wasn't sure if they'd be matched... but it sounds like armies aren't static and I can have tweaks and loadouts which is cool.

If you want to make some decent "demo" lists out of those two starters I would recommend these.
No LT, but for demos I wouldn't worry about that and a few special rules tossed in too.

The demo armies valthonis posted is a good idea...and a great way to get players familiar with the mechanics without having consult too much rules from figure special abilities.

I'd recommend ignoring the Chasseur's Mines for the first few games as well.
