The title says it all really.

The paint scheme I use for my wolves requires adeptus bettle grey...not I wouldn't mind switching to the new paints...if I wasn't half way through painting a drop pod...

Anyone know of where I can find it? And preferably some of the other old colours?

I just checked and found a couple on Ebay. Not sure where else really.

Have you tried your local gaming stores?

My one still has a heap of the old range of paints for sale, and at a bonus there half price becasue they are the old range, its a win win situation.

The only store nearby that has the old paints still sells them at standard price...and they only have black, red and white :/


I thought maybe ebay...but then there's always the chance that it's a half empty pot :/

I think ebay might be the only option, just read the listing carefully, if its half empty, send it back and ask for a refund

I use it as my marine color also. The new color mechanicus standard grey is almost identical, just a shade lighter, but if you shade the paint then you cannot tell.

If your going to make a purchase which makes the cost of P&P viable (a paint or 2 doesn't really) then http://www.4tk.co.uk/store/ stocks the older paints. A really good site and some great prices and discounts! (I got my doom scythe there £20.63 pre-ordered =D)

Okay...well I only need it to basecoat and then wash with black...do you guys think I could get the same effect with the new paints?

If not, why not try out the new GW/Vallejo equivalent? 'Mechanicus Standard Grey' and 'Heavy Grey' respectively. Unfortunately I cannot vouch for them being 100% matches though.
