I've been looking into the Blood, Guts and Glory sourcebook and I'm debating whether or not to get it. I prefer infantry and I'm not too into tank battles so I'm not sure about purchasing it. However I've been searching for some information on the battles involved in the Lorraine campaign but I'm struggling to get information about it. All I've been able to find is a few Wiki pages with a brief (and not very helpful) account of the Lorraine campaign with another link to the Battle or Arracourt, but other than that I've not found anything else.

Would someone who owns the book be able to give me and details of the battles involved in it, just purely for reading purposes and maybe to sway me into buying the damn thing =).

There are no infantry lists in the BGG source book. It's very tank heavy.

IMHO: If a Sherman horde is your thing then this is THE book for you. If not, then don't get it.

Yea, I have seen the book and its ALL tank/mech infantry lists. If you're looking for the story, maybe look for some osprey books or something

Something I've done is make an de facto Infantry company using BGG by building TD and Tank lists that feature two full infantry platoons and going with smaller TD/tank platoons.

Blood Guts and Glory ramps up the Western Front tank stuff. The US and Allies get better tanks to deal with German Armor.

If Infantry is your thing, you could always go with an elite Infantry list. US have Airborne Rangers and Brits have Commandos. Their armies tend to be smaller in size.

Of course if you REALLY like infantry, you can field some really big Russian Infantry armies.

Cheers for the heads up guys. I think I'll maybe skip this one then. I hear BF are bringing out a new sourcebook soon anyway.
