Amazon has all the Xcom games for DL for a pretty good price....my drive to capture the missile launcher and missile to study is in over drive

The whole series was bundled for 2 euro on Steam a few years back. I got it even though I already owned all the titles. Easier than trying to get the old versions to work.

I don't know...that old school prototype that firaxis guy was talking about sounded pretty awesome.
We might even get to see it in the official game

In one of his interviews, one of the developers of the new Xcom game said that during its initial production, they actually had a version that was a lot closer to the original game, complete with Time Units. They later on scrapped this version for a more streamlined incarnation, but the prototype is still around there somewhere.

I'm still playing Xcom: Apocolypse from the last sale Steam did on the series.

That was like 6-12 months ago. There is a hellova lot of play in them if you can get past the graphics. (I dont mind them as I remember them being the shizzle back when it was first released - 1999?)
