Not sure how I got glue on my thumb but i did then i touched the lens of my only pair of glasses. Anyone know how to get glue off of plastic lens glasses? I tried rubbing alcohol did nothing. Am I screwd?

Look for CA solvent at your local hardware store or hobby shop. Although, if your lenses are coated with anti-glare, you maybe screwed. Easier to get CA/Krazy glue off your eyeball than plastics.

Did a quick search, looks like acetone/nail polish removed will debond CA/Krazy Glue, but again, acetone might also eat the plastic your trying to get the glue off of, or craze it like the glue (that white powdery surface).

I'd say take your glasses in to an eyewear shop and see if they can polish the glue off.

Have you tried popping them in the freezer overnight and scraping the now flaky glue off afterwards?

Although it does do some funky things after exposure to the oils in human skin (it changes the adhesion properties), it might do the trick.

Well I tried acetone and Madocyw your were 100% correct the acetone ate the antiglare and now they are ruined. Sucks as I don't have the cash to get a new pair for a while. Might have to go to walmart and buy a cheapy pair. Still not sure how I had super glue on my thumb. I was using it , yes but dont know how i touched it with that hand.
