Hey guys, we just got a confirmation that Allies are indeed in the game and not just for Team Games, but regular games as well.

Our source could be wrong, but we doubt it. He's connected.

That scares me as anyone who played 2nd ed knows how stupid it was to have Allies. Fun? Yeah. Easily abused and game breaking? Yeah.

It was like Apoc, all it took was one person to game the system and you broke it.

We'll see how it plays out in application (and if it is even true), but that does not sound good to me in any way, shape or form off hand.

It's just sad that a guy noone's ever seen before pops in, claims he's a store owner who got three totally random tidbits of information from little birdies, and counts as a reliable 'connected' rumour source.

How did the discussion go between him and his little bird? You're on the phone with your friend who works for GW US, and he says he has the rulebook. You probably ask what he thinks of the new edition right? Is it any good, etc? Then he just randomly blurbs "preferred enemy is now re-roll wounds and theres this weird allies table but i didn't read it in detail so i don't know if its optional or not". Is that the way it went? Why don't these random people ever have any real information about the new edition? Why is it always "Yeah my friend called Little Bird has the rulebook, and he told me counter-assault is now a bit different! HA!" ? Just curious.
