Eden Studios have set up a Kickstarter campaign to fund the publication of the latest sourcebook for the Conspiracy X RPG. The Conspiracies Sourcebook.
The Conspiracies Sourcebook
Trust no one. The very nature of Aegis' work means that the organization has to work in secret, away from public scrutiny and hidden from the keen surveillance of their enemies. The National Defense Directorate manipulates and schemes in secret bases around the country, plotting and moving pawns in a deadly chess game of deception. A conspiracy against another conspiracy.
Aegis' secret agenda is the core of a conspiracy, but that conspiracy is built upon an altered and secret history - a conspiracy within a conspiracy. Lies within lies. A conspiracy against their own operatives. When faced with many conspirators, who can you trust?
This is the hidden world of Conspiracy X, where Aegis battles the NDD for control and superiority in a fight where both sides think they are doing what is best for humanity. Where cults and secret societies work behind the scenes, infiltrating and being infiltrated in turn. But the truth is far more shocking than anyone could have foreseen and will rock the agents' beliefs to the very core.

I helped play test Conspiracy X back in the 90s... and y'know I couldn't tell you a darn thing about the game.
I do remember I had a cool character though, an abusive drunken cop.
So anyway good to see they're still around.

Oh man, I am gonna have to follow this one, I feel like some of my friends would LOVE this game.
So tempted to pledge 400 I don't have just to get a group put in an RPG that we made up for a game one time.

It's like X-Files the roleplaying game.
When I played, the psy powers operated on a mechanic of guessing symbol cards (wavy lines, geometric shapes, etc).
I min-maxed and made a clairvoyant pyrokentic, who could use the clairvoyance to set you on fire. Too fun...

Oh, it's the same system as AFMBE, the coolest looking game I never got to play.

I haven't played their "new" con x system. I have all the first edition books and they are tremendously good. I have no idea why they changed it.

The USS Orinoco was a Federation Danube-class runabout that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century, attached to Deep Space 9. It was outfitted with a sensor pod.

Con X AFMBE crossovers. MMM good stuff.
Would have really liked to see more of the old City of Heros, in a kickstarter, seeing as they teased the heck out of it for over a year, then dumped it.
This is interesting, eitherway.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money. |
