Hey all,

Just wanted to post the army I painted this past week - a 5th Company Imperial Fists army. The customer requested I remove all beaky helmets, and to add some "5th company" style markings and coloring. It was a nice change of pace, as I had not done Imperial Fists before. I have done so many other colors so many times I have them all pretty well figured out, but yellow was somewhat an exception.

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to check them out, and until next time!

These are just awesome...

However (sorry), it looks as if you painted them Lamenters yellow-green? or is it the camera and lighting?

Lovely crisp yellow, and a nice clean job overall. The red is possibly a little bright with the more subdued yellow, but that might be just the pics... it looks a tad over-saturated, as if it has been colour-corrected a little too far.

I love the contrast on the hazard striping on the Vindicator.

Was putting the Chapter Badges on the wrong arm a deliberate design choice?

Dat Yellow! Great coloring!

The pen is mightier then the sword, but you must keep a sword handy for when the pen runs out of ink.

I love the yellow!! care to share the recipe??
i also really like the sternguard conversions! are those the finecast models?

only think i think looks kind of blank is the drop pod... imo it can be more weathered from dropping through the atmosphere and the impact with the ground, but as long as your client isi happy so should you be, right?

this showcase did tempt me to look at your blog and website... so consider me a follower

The gradient effect on the vehicles is fantastic, as is your weathering. You must be very competent with an airbrush!
