hi guys, im going to be painting my khorne army soon and i was wondering how to go around painting the metalic trim on there armour and what colours to use from the current gamesworkshop paint range. i was thinking of the brightest gold they have mixed with a bit of dark brown to dull it down abit and then wash with a brown wash. does anyone else have any ideas? any suggestions would be great, thanks.
Fluff-wise, it's meant to be brass, but bronze seems to work just fine too. Gold will look similar in the end if you apply a heavy black wash on it too though.
Personally, I use Dwarf bronze and I think it looks pretty good.
