Currently, I am running a paladin list with Draigo, Librarian and techmarine grenade caddy. I find the list to do very well as long as I can close in fast enough to my enemies. I haven't played DE or similar opponents so I don't know how such match up would playout. My question is: how do I make my paladin faster? My solodin will take the backfield objective, but I need a way to run after my enemies while claiming their objectives.

Footslogging doesn't bode so well and there is no transport with enough capacity.

There is no way you can make a brick of Paladins faster really, its called game balance lol. They are already incredibly difficult to kill and dish out a heap of damage, their speed and limited effect on the game (i.e they can only kill 1 unit at a time) is what keeps them from being completely broken. You can Deep Strike them (or Summon them with the Librarian power?) to get them across the board quickly, but that's not foolproof. You can Outflank them, but that's unreliable so you are probably best just giving them Scout and pushing forward as fast as you can. A good DE list will take apart any Draigowing list, its why its called a rock list and really just makes up for the fact that you will have games the other way around which are basically auto win matchups for you.

If you are ok with Combat Squading them then you have the option of using Land Raiders or Storm Ravens, but that's hard to do effectively (points issues + all your eggs in one basket issue magnified). There are plenty of ways to introduce some more mobility to the list as long as you don't mean the Paladins themselves though with Interceptors etc.

Bring a Land Raider, possibly? Or storm raven?

Points are a premium though.

You don't usually want them in a transport, since that means you'll be using less of that great shooting that they bring to the table.

Paladins are a mighty glacier. They're dreadfully slow, nearly unstoppable.

That said, armies like Dark Eldar with players who know how to fight Paladins will quickly dismantle them unless you bring some strong support.

You need something to bring down faster targets for Paladins to be competitive. Thankfully, Grey Knights have access to two of the best vehicle poppers in the game, the form of the Vindicare Assassin and Psyrifleman Dreadnaughts.

Couldn't you take 3 super cheap henchmen squads with chimeras and have the paladins hijack them? Just have the henchmen go to ground in cover or something.

Wouldn't that mean they would be in combat squad and thus lose the benefit of 10-man FNP + extra attack?

Only if it's 3 paladin units.
A normal 10 man star with Draigo, Libby, and a techmarine in PA would be 25 transport slots - there isn't anything that big. short of Apoc.

Yes but they can still all shoot and gain immunity to str 5 or less weapons, plus the added mobility. Though you just added six easy to grab kill points.

Actually that is a great idea - 5x Paladins and Draigo in one Chimera, 5x Paladins + 2x Techmarine (or whatever) in the other, then 5x Paladins + Coteaz + Techmarine in the last.

Then 3x 12-point henchmen with lasguns in cover G2G etc.
