Orikan looks decent, but I really like the Anrakyr model. He has sort of a feudal Japan look to him and a definate "come get some" stance

They are decent but I can see a lot of problems with both in Finecast.

Expect to have a few problems before getting one that is 'acceptable'.

I second the need for a solution for the "work blocked".

Actually, looks like I can still right click and get the address of the work-blocked file and use it to upload to the Dakka gallery.



I put it in a "Leaks & Rumors" folder, not sure if it meets the "gaming related" requirement for the gallery (or if Lego/Yak don't want to mess with hosting leaks on their server). If needed I can try to upload to my own site in the future.

The Anrakry model loos pretty much like theBbarge Lord. I got more or less the same effect by getting the Barge lord and cutting off the "orb" on his head.

Yeah that top blade on Anrakyr's staff is going to snap ridiculously easily. That is a weaker connection point than even Orikan's staff... :(

Thanks for uploading, stuff like this is fine in the gallery unless we get a complaint from the copyright holder.

Generally when reprinting stuff from WD its useful to include a copyright GW tag, this acknowledges their rights and makes them easy to find if we ever do get a complaint.

I like both. However, Orikan does look like a monkey to me, with the long tail and the expression on his face. But i'll still get both, just for completeness sake (and especially cause this will make Necrons one of the few armies with all their models!!!)

I have no need for either of them but its really nice to see GW actually completing a codex very rapidly

Hmm, I like 'em both. Compared to Zahndrekh's model, they are much nicer. Still hard to beat Szeras' model though.

Gorgeous models... I'd have to say Obyron is still my fave as his stance just has that "get in B2B and i'll mess your world up!"

Anrakyr looks fantastic, and I kinda appreciate the hakama-inspired look he's got.

Orikan.... does not look good. All I can sad is this:

Orikan looks like some kind of screaming primate. In a good way I think. Anrakyr looks great, that pose specifically. I may have to get myself a new general...

Also: I say that the odds of Orikan's staff not being deformed via Finecast is going to be about 1 in 20

Sadly thats my biggest complaint about the new Necrons...all the SC are finecast. I dont want anything to do with finecast.

I really like the Necrons, and I could get into building an army, but with no LGS Im dependent on online ordering...and Im not risking getting a bunch of gak buying finecast.

Are there any other pics? I can't make out Anrakyr's face and not sure if his legs are visible or wearing a skirt.

To me Obyron's stance says something more along the lines of "I'm just gonna stand here, 'kay?" Even the most I-already-know-how-I'm-gonna-kill-you fighters look meaner when they're standing like they're about to kill you rather than like they're waiting for a bus. I guess I just expected something more dynamic, like the Overlord, or even Anrakyr.

Anrakyr does look pretty sweet though. Again, shame it's in Finecast. :(
