The LAST EVER 5th Edition 40k Tournament!


Since we now have a fairly concrete release on 6th edition as June 30th, Borderlands Comics and Games will be hosting a Midnight release Tournament on Friday, June 29th. Tournament will play until midnight, and then 6th edition will then be available for purchase!

Here's your tournament information!

1500 points, three 2 hour rounds starting at 7 pm, going until completion! Entry fee of $10.00

The three primary missions and their deployments will be the stock from the back of the book in a combination of my choosing! It's the last time you'll get/have to play them!

Secondary missions will be a secret. Before each round you and your opponent will draw from a collection of objectives, not tell your opponent what you drew, and attempt to complete that objective. If successful you gain bonus battle points for your secondary mission. If your opponent figures out and prevents you from achieving the secondary objective, he will gain battle points!

There will be a sliding scale paint score, player judged, and a yes/no sports vote, player judged.

Prizes will be awarded for First Place, Second Place, Best General (battle points), best Paint (player vote). Additional prizes may be awarded based on number of entries, the more that show up the more prizes that can be given!

Great idea, you should play the final round after midnight using the 6th rules. Be sure to allow about 5 hours for that game though!

Good thing I warned the boss/wife about this coming up. Great idea for a tournament.
