Subject: Got Talent scandal: This time in Thailand.
I am talking about 'boob painter' controversies. At this moment. the Ministry of Culture affairs (an extreme outdated conservatives) issues a 'hard action' against Work Point entertainment (a licensee of Got Talent series). for the bureaucrats. the 'boob paintings' are considered 'pornography' rather than 'nudity' .. Boths are considered either Illegal or taboo. However. Pornchita 'Benz' Na Songkla is the only referee to says 'Fail' to the shows. other two referees (which are male) says 'Pass'.
This sparks a heavy controversies nationwide. Girls, and many conservatives says that the 'boob' contestant is a 'b i t c h' (subject to 'Indecency', for extreme conservatives it is a 'heresy') and deserves no Thai nationals. for them being Thai also means that one MUST strictly tie oneself to the (centrally established) cultures. for Liberals, artists, and ... ahem. Boys, 'boob painter' is considered an art.
for me.
1. Work Point must fire Benz.
2. Ministry of Culture Affairs should open more grounds to 'liberals'. Conservationism is a big FAIL
3. ANY religious establishment in Thailand must SHUT UP on this incident.
TBH what's the difference between that performance and a titty club show where girls wrestle in oil or something.

I'm a man of the world and I like boobs as much as the next heterosexual man. I don't see why they should be shoved in people's faces on prime time TV for a cheap ratings boost.
What's next? Girl shoots paint balls out of her arse to make a picture. Girl sucks off a line of guys and uses their emissions to paint a picture.
Her painting was pretty crap, but then again breasts...
When I first saw the video I thought that dance group were going to be ladyboys which might have been mildly controversial/entertaining.
Thanks. i've tried to find the said clip but i've got a 6-section ones first and... as i've watched the shows in the time it was aired. the said show is the LAST. i am saying LAST one.
another controversey said that a said contestant is actually a nude model hired by Workpoint Entertainment itself and not appear in Audition rounds. with the only one goal in mind. attract ratings. and thus.. secure 'Got Talent' license.
the boob paintings are not really good but there are two points to blame.
1. WP marketing policy of GT. the more controversy it's got. the better
2. Cultural Conservativism

Its just boobs not a big deal, they even show them in prime time commercials over here. I really thought that you guys over in those parts of Asia were more open regarding human sexuality then even we degenerate Euros? /runs away and hides from the mob with torches and pitchforks for stereotyping an entire world region like that...

It is actually personal opinion. and usually influenced by person's gender and sexuality. women audiences will say 'yikes!' while (straight) men drolls.
Another factor was the wrestling between Conservativism (old folks) and Liberalism (new gen). Conservativism supports the 'centrally established culture' and will attack anyone who brands himself as modern and says crap about national culture.
Was thinking this was going to be a good scandal. Turned out to be boring. I think we had a fully nude audition once on BGT, and it wasn't a young person either.
