So Tyrant Guards can have lash whips/ boneswords, but the model doesn't come with any . . . The ones on the Hive Tyrant seem like they would be too big so I was wondering if Tyranid Warriors come with LW/BS and if they would fit the Tyrant Guards? Also I bought a new in box Hive Tyrant off ebay, but I guess it may have been an older one, it looks the same as the newer one, but there were not any Devourers in the box. Do Tyranid Warriors also come with Devourers and would they fit the Tyrant w/o being way out of proportion? I'd rather not get a box of warriors for parts, but I can't seem to find the right bits I need on ebay; it's either lw/bs sized for the Tyrant that would be too big on the Guards or Devourers sized for Termagants that would be way to small on the Tyrant.

Tyranid Warriors don't come with LW/BS, but there is an optional finecast sprue you can order for them. They wouldn't look too out of place on a tyrant guard.

I used venom cannon tubes for my tyrant guard lashwhips.


I'm not certain if warriors come with devourers, but I know termagants do. The gaunt sized devourers are actually the exact same size as the carnifex sized ones. The only difference is the size of the arm holding them.

So you can just cut off termagant devourers at the wrist and glue them onto spare monstrous creature scything talon arms.
