Hey guys,

Just found this site:

Few questions:

- Is High Impact polystyrene the same as plasticard/sheet styrene? Everything ive found seems to point to yes, but id like some clarification...
- Are those prices reasonable, i would say yes but shipping comes out at £15

Short answer: Yes.

Long answer: YES, HIPS is the same as sheet polystyrene/plasticard.

Wouldn't know about that shipping being reasonable as I have a plastics supplier in an adjacent suburb and I just go pick the stuff up. It costs me about 3x what those prices are though per sheet.
They have it in 600x300mm here and you can buy it by the sheet - but most people buy 10+ sheets.

After looking around on the net and stuff, i think im gonna go with this.

The really cheap stuff is only available by the 500kg or ton!!

And other stuff comparable to this costs about the same by the time shipping is added.
