I was wondering what the rules on flyer squadrons were, if any at all...
My plan was an apocalypse sized carpet bombing run, with blitza bommas.
Will that be in 6th edition or something?

Currently the only squadroned flyer i can think of is the Imperial Guard Valkyrie/Vendetta. I imagine they'll function like a ground based squadron, requiring coherency and having some damage modifiers like now. As stated above, we'll see in about a week.

What about the piranahas?

Fast skimmers are not all becoming flyers. Only the ones that use the tall cross shaped flying stand an oval base will.
