Evening fellow Dakka's.

I've recently been playing my Blood Ravens using the Blood Angels codex quite a lot, and i've recently won the first round of an escalation League at my LFGS. So i've been looking at expanding my models and playing around with the other styles of armies the BA codex offers, namely DoA.

Now to me... the idea of having no tanks or dreadnoughts is very alien! So the below list is for friendly games and not meant for any leagues/tournys. My local meta is mainly Tau, DE, SW's, White scars, nids and CSM.

So onto the list

HQ's

Librarian - JP, Blood Lance, Shield - 125
Librarian - JP, Might, Shield - 125

Honor Guard - JP's, 4 x melta - 205
Honor Guard - JP's, Flamer, 3x PW - 215

Elites

Sang Guard - 1x PF - 210
Sang Priest - JP - 75

Troops

Assault Squad x10 - 2x melta, PF - 235
Assault Squad x10 - 2x Flamer, PW, MB - 220
Scouts - Cloaks, Snipers, ML - 100

Fast

Vanguard Vets - JP's, Infernus Pistol, 3x power weapon, TH - 240

Total 1750 on the nose

General tactics i have in mind is two blobs, one anti tank, one anti infantry. I'll start on the board rather than fully DoA (so not really a DoA list in hind sight!).
Priests from the HG's should keep people in a FC and FnP bubble, the single priest is to go where needed. VV's i'll hold in reserve and HI onto the board where needed when they arrive, they have a mishmash of weapons on purpose, something i don't normally like doing but as i don't know if they will be need for troop or tank killing i felt this was a good comprimise.
Scouts to hold home objectives, and Sang guard..... yes i know..... but i do like the models so they'll also go where i need them also.

Let me know what you think.
