I recently got a compressor from my moms boyfriend and figured i would get an airbrush. I think i decided on a paasche talon. Just wonder if it would be a ok brush to startwith.

Talon is a good airbrush from reading the specs. It will last you a long time if you take care of it. I would recommend Iwata, seeing I have always had one and they last forever. But your choice will be fine..

I started less than a year ago with a Pasch Talon and I think it was a good choice for a newcomer. Iwata are supposed to be superior ( and I think they are ) but more costly, too costly to start with I think.

I use a basic model with oil collector to remove any trace of oil or water. So far it looks okay. The pressure setting is not really precise but after a few tries I am able to set it how I need. You just need to remember that you have to spray at least some air to have a lecture on the regulator.

I am not sure where is available in your area but just about any internal mix dual action airbursh is good to start with.
If you can get to a harborfreight you should be able to pick up a regualrator/moisture trap and a brush for cheap.
Mess with that for a while, then upgrade to a better brush...
best of luck!!!!

I figured out that i am going to need a tank and was thinking of just getting a craftsman 5 gallon tank and get a dual port for it. Think i could make it work?

If its just a tank then your fine, how are you going to fill it? Do you have a compressor to fill it?
