how do i make plasma guns for my imperial guard?

ebay ahs them for 5 dollars a gun.. which seems like alot. is their a cheaper alternative?

The gw website sells metal plasm gun bits at a much cheaper rate than $5.00 per gun, i'm surprised you can't find them cheaper on ebay.

I use the plastic plasma pistol from the space marine assault weapons sprue.

You can also buy weapon packs from Forge World--I bought an Elysian Weapon pack and it lets me mix and match weapon patterns.

Well, I noticed that the Elysian weapons seemed smaller than normal IG weapons (fitting with their fluff), so they might not fit or look right. Here's a picture I found.
