Hello Dakka.

Sorry this is not the best quallity photo, however I have just had a long four day weekend and wanted to show off the productive use of my time.

These are my five man Howling Banshee squad painted in 48 hours.

Nice, but the light from the window is making the swords look strange, I can't tell if their painted well or not.

Either way the rest of the model is awesome

Love the red/blue contrast elements. Only minor criticsm is that the back of the middle ones sword has an apparant out of place darker blotch. Basing is great and the white guns superb.
Also the general armour plates/helmets and the like are nicely done with nice smoothness :-)

Solid work. Love the hair... really pulls attention to the face. They'll look great on the table.

More than ready for the tabletop - the colors are nice, as is the basing. Looking more closely, the (off) white of the armor looks a bit chunky, either due to overly thick paint or poor model prep. Personally, I'm not a fan of the swords - the transitions are far too stark for using so few colors, especially with such a wide gap between the light and dark. Again, though, the overall impression is positive.

Banshees in their Traditional Aspect Colors - love it !

Yeah I personally do not like the swords. Tried something different and failed. I will go back and re-do them at some point I feel but experience is experience.

I also agree on the paint looking thick comment. They were done in the new Citadel paints and I feel I did not water down enough.

I think he's broken into games workshop and nicked their photo models! Great paint job man - 2 days is pretty awesome!

These look great. I couldn't do half of that in 2 days.

I could do with getting some better photo's of these not using my phone camera, some of the detail and highlighting is lost. But thanks.

i love howling banshees, these guys are great, really nice classic colours as well, well done.
