Now I do not own a GK codex, but I was playing against GK a couple nights ago and I had immobilized a rhino. He then began to do a Psychic test for his rhino to fix it or something like that. It wasnt the rhino self repair which I am aware. But it was a psychic test, I questioned it and he pointed to its entry in the book and I quickly skimmed it so I didnt get the whole reasoning behind it, I just wanted to make sure he wasnt full of it. Anyways, if this is an actual ability and I wasnt mistaken, what leadership value does the vehicle use to take such a test? and what if there is a perils of the warp? Thanks!

GK have fortitude which allows them to make a psychic test to ignore shaken or stunned, not immobilized.

The rules are in the GK codex for Ld and perils.

Also, it only works against shaken and stunned, not against immobilized.........................

i had something similar happen to me, but it was a techmarine doing the fixin, i asked to see the book and he said no, i called the game there as i felt shenanigans were afoot

this was the 2nd time he had done this btw

Yes, they have the Reconstruction power, which somewhat makes up for their total lack of attendant servitors.

Well its nice to see he wasnt being a total ass, but still... try telling me that all GK force weapons auto activate?

I know about the brotherhood banner but he didnt have one of those.

They auto-activate within the unit on the one psychic test (you pass it on the halberd, then the hammer gets it too automatically). I know you probably know that, but that may have been it? Or else he was just a bit of an ass.

nah he told me that no psy test is needed at all, i play marines and know this not to be the case, asked him to show me his book so i can check it and he refused, then he pulled the techmarine can repair the tank on a psy test and i asked to see again and he refused, it was this point where i decided it wasnt any fun playing someone who is clearly trying to pull one on me and packed up my stuff and asked him to leave (was at my house, he is a friend of a friend)

Actually, immobilized rhinos CAN use fortitude!

It just wont fix the immobilized result

On the flip side, it was decided a tech can repair from inside the rhino. Did he have a tech marine in the transport?

Rhino has repair: if immobilised roll a 6 in the shooting phase and the rhino is no longer immobilised

Rhinos and Razorbacks have Fortitude: pass a psychic test in the move phase if you are shaken or stunned and if passed the shaken or stunned is removed.

I'm not sure if you meant rhinos dont have fortitude, but gk ones do...
