Subject: khorne psyker?

Implacable Black Templar Initiate

Hey guys, I'm excited to try out some of the new psychic powers that will be coming with but unfortunately my only army that can take them is my all Khorne themed csm army (the others being DE and BT) Now I know that world eaters killed all their psykers but I was wondering if another chapter, say recently turned, wouldn't mind keeping their psyker around even if they are devoted to Khorne? If not I wonder if I could get away with calling him a 'blood chanter' or something and pick one of the more battle-crazed 'lores'
In case the above does not make sense, I am looking for an excuse to take a sorcerer in my Khorne csm army. Give me that excuse!

There's no allowance of a psyker in a khorne army.
Sorry, but that's just that.

Check out the Sanctified, a splinter warband of the Word Bearers dedicated to Khorne who took part in the Siege of Vraks

Sanctified looks like a match for you.
You could do it in the codex by taking a "naked" sorcerer/DP and then just giving MoK to the rest of your army. the upside is you might not needs to repaint your whole army either!
Could actually be pretty fluffy, especially if you manage to use the new haemorrage spyker power in the new rulebook.

Also the World Eaters forces in Dawn of War: Winter Assault under the command of Lord Crull made use of sorcerers although he doesn't trust them.
I guess that could be your loop whole, desperate needs call for desperate measures.

Yea I was hoping there might be a list of powers that could come off as war chants or battle cries, working in a fashion like how the templar use vows that give them benefits but aren't considered witchcraft!

There used to be Khorne Psykers that just used to use their powers to buff themselves and their unit, in 6th ed you can use a naked sorcerer and use Biomancy stuff

Currently debating whether to study for my exams or paint some Deathwing |

Unless the psyker chart I saw was wrong, I don't think chaos have access to Biomancy

Best bet I think is the Sanctified or an undivided warband that leans more towards khorne (Like Araghast the Pillager or Eliphas the Inheritor)

Gods? There are no gods. Merely existences, obstacles to overcome.
