Outside the DarkTower, amongst the roses.

I kinda like it to be honest. Don't tell Anyone.

Every Dakkanaught gets a 4+ Pinch of Salt save.
When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss

Also, it's spelled Citadel, as in castle

The metal squigs were prone to legs bending and/or snapping off too. It's a problem with the sculpt in that the squigs have itts bitty legs..

Citadel minis as a whole are pretty good.

Finecast...not so much, but not all Citadel minis are finecast.

In the dark recesses of your mind...

I absolutely love much of the Citadel range, most of the older metal figures I have seen and much of the plastics are fantastic. I have had issues with Finecast but that is pretty easy to deal with, I just don't buy finecast models any more. Here's hoping that the kinks get worked out of finecast at some point.

Citidle minis are crap. Citadel miniatures, on the other hand, are quite lovely.

I've seen worse, but yes, finecast isn't that great.

No point getting worked up though. If the model is only available in finecast, convert one up (especially as orks) instead.

If not, ebay up the old metal ones

I really like the Cryptek model though the staff has a nasty tendency to bend to the left a little. Any bubbling can be fixed with a little greenstuff. My experience with Finecast has been okay, but I prefer the plastic and metal models.

Prefer metal and plastic.

Have made a few Finecast purchases. No huge flaws, and overall I was pleased that I actually got some decent finecast.

You missed the bandwagon about a year ago.

Also, I only clicked on this thread because I just had to see what the person who wrote that title had to say. I was not disappointed.

We've had enough Finecast discussion in recent days; no need to start another one.
