Hi Dakka,

I thought id throw a thread on here (sorry if there is already similar ones out there) about good Story driven web comics.

If you could post your favorite or notable story driven web comics in this thread to share around i'm sure us on night shift will enjoy some new reading material

To start the ball rolling here is a couple of my favorites I've been reading lately:

Questionable Content - http://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=1
Goblins - http://www.goblinscomic.com/06252005/
L.A.W.L.S - http://lawlscomic.com/i-killed-you-before/
Nerf This - http://nerf-this.com/03232009/
Kick Girl - http://www.kick-girl.com/?p=73
Pictures of You - http://picturesofyou.smackjeeves.com/comics/110886/1-00-prologue-1/
Not A Villain - http://navcomic.com/archive/v1-001/
Gaia - http://www.sandraandwoo.com/gaia/2011/11/01/cover/
Eatatau - http://eatatau.smackjeeves.com/comics/707924/000-eatatau/
Servants of the Imperium - http://www.servantsoftheimperium.com/comic.php?comicid=1

My favorite at the moment is probably Not a Villain, its quite an interesting world i'm really enjoying it. But its a close decision between Not a Villain and Goblins, I just love all that D&D Humor!

I don't bother with webcomics really, but I've always enjoyed The Whiteboard - (Link to very first one) It's kinda paintball related, but funny even if you don't know much about paintball...

The only two I read anymore are:

Questionable Content - http://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=1
Gunnerkrigg Court - http://www.gunnerkrigg.com/archive_page.php?comicID=1

I used to read Control-Alt-Delete and Penny Arcade. CAD stopped being funny to me and Penny Arcade was never funny, if I'm being 100% honest.

I also used to read Order of the Stick and it was my favorite for a while, but it got old for some reason. Right about the time Roy died and met his parents in heaven. The main storyline got stale around then so I stopped.

Darths and Droids is pretty good. They currently just started A New Hope.

And, the comic Darths and Droids got its inspiration from: DM of the Rings. But, sadly this one finished up a few years ago.

Most of the other webcomics I read are one-offs and don't really have a story. (I don't include CAD as having a story. It just has brief interludes with a plot, but those reset themselves after a few strips.) Order of the Stick is the only other one I still follow.

Not exactly story driven, but there are some recurring characters with their own stories. It is, however, the funniest webcomic I have ever read, hands down.

Also, Kate Beaton's Hark! A Vagrant

Homestuck, definitely story driven but it has moments of being funny.
