My thinking behind this army. Jump packs obv as they are now more viable with the combination of bolters and power swords as rage overrides the extra cc weapon meaning a unit that has very strong fire power with very very powerful cc with Astroath and Lemartes + Mephiston as he is amazing

My concern is this is very expensive in points but would be rather fun having three deathstar units moving around.

I don't think that this list fills either the 'brilliant' or 'stupid' category at the minute.

I think that you'll probably get better feedback when 6th actually hits the shelves as until then we're not going to know every detail.

Yes, you do have some powerful CC units but where's your shooting? Without shooting I can just keep moving away from you avoiding casualties and yet even with heavy weapons I can still snap fire at you. Despite the fact that the Death Company are going to be fast. I ran a 3 deathstar Ork list and I found that I really needed the shooting.

As well as this, it looks like most of the missions are going to involve objectives, and so having no scoring units is really going to hurt you. I'd probably go with assault marines, as it looks like they're going to be getting a real buff in the next edition.

23 units with 0 vichicles 0 heavy weapons... bolt pistols fire power is really low and it's all at cost of 1680 pts...
imagine some put in front of them 2 ball predators + 2 predators at cost of 480 pts.
DC is really good but not for so many points at 1500~`pts game lvl
