Whilst the painting is excellent, the head of the Wych is looking the wrong way. It needs to be tilted down a little more, as ATM the models really are not interacting with one another and their contact is purely incidental. Have the Wych look at the Guardsman will go a long way to increasing the interaction of the models in this piece.

I sort of disagree with Grimtuff. I think they are interacting. Though I do agree the Wych should probably look down more, therefore to better enjoy Sergeant Joe's suffering and death. Unless he is to be a slave. In which case, the Wych would still need to look down as she nets him or knocks him out. I love the dying guardsman in the trench. It looks so realistic and lifelike. If you wanted to get really crazy you might put a few splinters into the armour of the dying guard, and maybe even Sergeant Joe himself.

Very nice, wish I could paint like that, but...... I think the sgt looks too clean and fresh, especially for having been trench fighting and compared to the dying trooper, just think he'd benefit from being a little more 'dirty/grubby' in appearance

I think it's the perfect amount of grubby v. detail. It's clean enough to show the subtle detail (tatoos, shading)

Phenomenal, phenomenal work

Not a fan of NMM. You did a good job none the less. I do see the head issue. Seems it could be looking down a bit to me as well.

Just superb.

I like that she's not looking at him. For all his macho bluster, she sees him as a speed bump and is already thinking about the next kill.

Thanks for sharing!

Lol can't believe all the nitpicking, that thing is amazing, nuff said. For me the head gives the model arrogance, as if it's already looking for its next target. If you said that this had won a GD I wouldn't have been surprised. Absolutely brilliant.

Excellent work! I don't really find a problem with the pose myself, gives it the flair of arrogance you would expect from the Eldar.

Thanks to allof you. See, the head is as downed as it can be - it`s the same problem as SM, crushing his head wit shoulderpads while his hand are up =). So... Looks like the eldar is already choose her next victim and watching it =)

Are you sure you're not lying to us and you did use an airbrush? I mean this looks gorgeous! My question is, how did you get the tattoos on Guardsman Joe's arms? They look perfectly faded into the arms, and so clean too!

Just incredible paint work. The NMM is flawless, the detail on this mini-diorama is great. It draws me in and makes me want to look at it for hours. The colors and the realism is awesome!
