Not a lot of changes from 5th edition if you think about it. The Aegis Defence Line (4 long and 4 short pieces) is a huge revelation as it gives good cover saves for a ton of models. I've also given it the Quad Gun which is a twin-linked S7 AP4 Heavy 4 gun that can optionally be used in the end of the opponent's movement phase against one enemy unit that has entered from reserve and is within line of sight. It also hits flyers with normal BS. So basically the idea here is that the CCS and both the PCS ride in the Vendettas. Before you say 'when those Vendettas die all those units get S10 AP1 hits' I remind you that they're mostly suicide squads and there's very little chance that the Vendettas get outright smoked. Vendettas are hard to hit now and get to shoot at priority targets when they enter play. You can also drop those passengers out as soon as possible if you're panicing about their health.

No, they're there for the same reason as always. You focus your firepower on destroying vulnerable targets, and then you kill just enough models from tough enemy infantry units to force a morale check, and then you autobreak them with Weaken Resolve.

I haven't played many Guard using them, So I forgot about Weaken Resolve.

It works for me. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be functional.

FAQ withstanding, IG looks to be one of the dominant 6th Edition forces. I am curious to hear how this list fares.
